Power of Attorney Feature

I worked on a project for a mobile banking application where I was tasked with developing a new feature for issuing the power of attorney online. This feature was designed to streamline the process of creating power of attorney documents for users, particularly targeting the business segment. The primary objective was to provide companies and their owners with a convenient and efficient way to issue these documents directly within the banking application. By integrating this functionality, the application aimed to save users valuable time and enhance their overall business operations.
Challenge
Main task is to create a feature in the banking application that will streamline the process of issuing power of attorney documents for users. This will save time for entrepreneurs and businesses, as well as attract new clients due to the convenience and efficiency of the provided services.
UX - research
I conducted an analysis of the main banking applications in this segment. I conducted interviews with several respondents to identify the demand for this feature and assess its popularity. Based on the analysis, a profile of the potential user was created. Low-fidelity screens were drawn to visualize the concept more effectively.
Upon entering the application, the user can navigate to the services menu and select the required service. In the "For Business" section, there is a function to "Issue Power of Attorney." Clients can easily issue a power of attorney for a new employee in their company without having to visit a bank branch or use a computer, from anywhere. This significantly saves their time.
Depending on the number of powers of attorney the user has, the list can have multiple views for user convenience. It can be presented as "tiles" and as a list (both options are shown on the screens) for ease of use with documents. Additionally, for quick search of powers of attorney, there is sorting by readiness status at the top of the screen, which is a very convenient feature for the user.
If the user wants to revoke the power of attorney, for this action they must click on the button Withdraw and additional confirmation+smsignature, in order to avoid erroneous actions.
When opening a power of attorney, we see the basic information such as who the power of attorney is issued to, from what date, and in what status the power of attorney is. We can also open and download it in PDF format. For the convenience of filling out the power of attorney, the user can also be offered the option to save a draft of the partially completed form. In other words, step-by-step completion with the ability to save the entered data.
